Volunteer inspired to fundraise for Sova

Sova Support Link ASD volunteer, goes the extra mile to raise an amazing £528.15 in support of Sova’s life changing work!

Brian Solomons, an outstanding volunteer for Sova Support Link ASD in London has shown a strong commitment to Sova, having provided short term support to three service users over the last year.  However,  Brian went one step further by informing his church of Sova’s life changing work and Sova’s commitment to helping socially excluded people.  We were absolutely delighted to hear from Brian that in May 2015, St Giles’ Cripplegate church held a book fair and donated the proceeds to Sova. An amazing £528.15!

The Rector of the church who gave the donation commented:  “We give to specified charities throughout the year but we are always open to requests from individuals where the charity is appropriate.”

Sova are absolutely delighted at the generous donation and would like to thank the Rector, churchwardens and PCC of St Giles’ Cripplegate church.  Any form of donation Sova receives will help us to keep on providing the high quality of service to service users and volunteers across England and Wales.
