Sova Connect London

Helping hard-to-reach offenders to move towards employment & social inclusion by addressing their multiple barriers.

Many of our service users lack confidence, have low self-esteem, lead chaotic lifestyles and have little support from family and friends.

Working alongside Shaw Trust and CRI staff, our mentors are there to motivate, encourage and support offenders in custody, as well as those living in the community to get the skills, support and confidence they will need to address their barriers and reintegrate into the community. This could be by offering advice on putting together a CV, helping to find the right training or college course, taking people to appointments and interviews or simply being there for reassurance and as a trusted person to talk to.
