Volunteer Mentors - Support Link - London

Do you have an interest in mental health and offending behaviour? Do you want to contribute to improving people’s quality of life? Have you got some spare time? Would you like to enhance your CV by adding new skills?

If you answered yes to any of the above then we have an opportunity for you! Sova Support Link are currently recruiting motivated and open-minded individuals to volunteer to support adult ex- offenders with longstanding psychological needs to reintegrate successfully back into London. You will be part of a group of (approximately 2-3) volunteers and you will be working with one participant (ex-offender). Together you will be required to help problem solve, positively challenge, empower and motivate a participant achieve their goals.

We offer accredited training through the Open College Network and also specialist training prior to and during your volunteering.

Time commitment:  4-8 hours per week
