Volunteer Mentors - Northampton

Are you looking for an opportunity to share your life skills with those less confident? Gain valuable skills and experience whilst helping others – volunteer and you can help someone get their life back on track.

Sova is searching for energetic and motivated people to volunteer on The One Service, a reducing re-offending programme based in Peterborough that is already producing great results across Cambridgeshire.

Volunteering in a professional team, either based in HMP Peterborough helping those in custody or working within the community as a volunteer mentor, you will use your skills to support individuals’ personal development as they move towards a crime free lifestyle.

Full induction and training will be provided and travel costs reimbursed. Successful applicants will have to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau check.

Time commitment:  2-4 hours per month
