Sova Derby Priority Families
Priority Families are part of the national Troubled Families programme. Families getting support from Priority Families are some of the most vulnerable families in Derby City. Priority Families presents a positive opportunity to work intensively with children and parents in Derby.
We are working closely with our partners in Schools, the Police, Housing, Health and other services to trial new ways of working with vulnerable families to:
- keep children in school
- help adults on their journey into work
- reduce crime and antisocial behaviour
- improve health and wellbeing
Sova is also providing mentoring to individuals within the family unit, working towards improving these outcomes.
