map the mentors of young people in the 14-19 age group within
educational organisations, voluntary and statutory organisations

review and evaluate the existing system for recruiting,
selecting, managing, matching and supervising mentors and the
existing training programmes for mentors

consider the core qualification for and accreditation
arrangements for mentors

develop mentoring standards and quality assurance procedures in
line with the qualification.

produce a final report and good practice manual.
