Sova Cardiff Refugee Service

At Sova Cardiff Refugee Service we support young people and adults who are refugees or asylum seekers to start a new life in Cardiff.

We find, train and support volunteer mentors who befriend young and adult refugees and asylum seekers and help them to feel part of their local community. We also run a drop-in centre which is a safe and welcoming place for children and young people who feel isolated and need support. Our mentors encourage and help the people they meet with to make friends and get involved in social activities, as well as offering practical advice on things like learning English, homework and adapting to life in the UK.

The Sova Cardiff Refugee Service is funded by the Welsh Government.
