Our Vision.

A society where people have the stability and confidence to steer clear of crime and make better choices. Our mission is to offer personal support and practical advice to help build stability both at work and at home enabling people to make better choices and improve the quality of their lives.

Our values are part of who we are and what we deliver as an organisation.  Developed in consultation with staff, volunteers and service users are values are:

Our Aims.

Our aim is to support, inspire and challenge the people we work with to make positive changes to improve their
lives and fulfil their potential.  We provide support for hard to reach individuals and families and help offenders and
ex-offenders stay out of trouble. We get people into training and jobs, enable people to rebuild their family and  personal relationships to give them greater stability, and offer people the chance to gain or share skills by
volunteering within their own community.


We are committed to:

  • delivering the best services possible which are responsive and relevant to the people we work with and the stakeholders who commission us.
  • informing and contributing to local and national debate to influence policy in the criminal and social justice arenas as well as the voluntary sector.
  • strengthening Sova and its infrastructure to ensure the effective delivery of services.
